We had the tremendous honour of supporting the recent Outstanding Social Behaviour Awards (OSBAs) held in Manchester on May 31st, 2023. The awards ceremony, organised by the Manchester-based peace campaign group CARISMA, aims to acknowledge and celebrate the exceptional individuals who have made a positive difference in their communities and triumphed over personal challenges, emerging as beacons of positive change.

Procam Take 2 proudly sponsored the Turnaround Award, which honours individuals who have overcome personal challenges and transformed their lives, inspiring others to do the same. As part of the sponsorship, we also provided professional camera equipment and filming training to students at the Manchester Communications Academy, enabling these aspiring filmmakers to capture memorable moments at the event.

PT2 Client Contact Chimere Bell presented the Turnaround Award to winner Margaret Edet. Driven by her experience of her daughter’s cancer diagnosis, Margaret founded the Family Unit Trust to raise awareness and provide practical support to people affected by cancer. Her exceptional efforts include creating cancer awareness within the BAME community, organising charity fundraising events, and providing food parcels to families in need.

Taslima Ahmed was also highly commended in the Turnaround category for her outstanding contributions. Taslima overcame personal challenges and founded Creative Design and Manufacture UK, an organisation that empowers women by coaching them in hand-processed textile manufacturing techniques and mentoring them to secure work opportunities in the industry.

We are immensely proud to have been part of an event that celebrates admirable individuals who have made lasting positive changes in their communities.
